Concept
The outdoor clothing company, Wawona was an assignment to design the entire logo, color scheme, mission and over all look for a clothing brand. Wawona, features native flowers from California and would eventually feature the other 50 states in order to spread awareness about each state's native plants, encourage planting and raise funds for plant preservation. This design was intended to be unisex so everyone feels included and can see themselves rockin' their state flower. The design itself captures the earthy elements with bold color reflecting the beauty of each flower. The logo design is in the shape of a W, for Wawona, but also captures the shape of mountains connecting the brand back to the outdoors. Bringing the outdoors to the consumer I use pressed flowers into the double page spread ad with scrapbook layout treatment for a field and botanical notebook vibe.
